The chemistry in Her is so flat it would fail a high-school lab report.

@ENDING_LEAKS2025-12-01 16:00 UTC

Her is what happens when a writers' room confuses "ambiguous" with "didn't finish the draft".

@SCREEN_SHADE2025-12-01 04:00 UTC

Her treats "worldbuilding" the way a toddler treats a fruit bowl — enthusiastically, briefly, then forgotten.

@LATE_SHOW_LURKER2025-11-30 16:00 UTC

Her has the emotional range of a fridge magnet.

The cinematography in Her is doing all the heavy lifting and it shows

Look, I wanted to love Her. The trailer had me hyped. But sitting through the second hour felt like a homework assignment. The dialogue is exposition stacked on exposition and the score keeps telling me how to feel.

[Spoilers] Can we discuss that absolutely baffling ending in Her?

Director clearly thought Her was deeper than it is. There's a difference between ambiguous and unfinished, and this leans hard into the second.

Why does no one talk about how mid the writing in Her actually is?

Just got out of Her and I'm convinced critics are being paid in residuals. Two genuinely good scenes do not make a film. Convince me otherwise.

Unpopular opinion: Her is the most overrated film of the decade

Rewatched Her last night and noticed even more plot holes than the first time. The motivations don't track at all once you stop and think about act two.
