Get Out
Masterfully crafted. Un-roastable.
An absolute cinematic disaster.
Chris and his girlfriend Rose go upstate to visit her parents for the weekend. At first, Chris reads the family's overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter's interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he never could have imagined.

Unpopular opinion: Get Out is the most overrated film of the decade
Everyone praising the Get Out performances must have watched a different cut. The lead is sleepwalking through this and the supporting cast can't save it.
The cinematography in Get Out is doing all the heavy lifting and it shows
Just got out of Get Out and I'm convinced critics are being paid in residuals. Two genuinely good scenes do not make a film. Convince me otherwise.
[Serious Discussion] Is anyone else completely checked out by the pacing in Get Out?
Director clearly thought Get Out was deeper than it is. There's a difference between ambiguous and unfinished, and this leans hard into the second.
