If exposition were a contact sport, Enchanted would be banned for life.

“Plot holes? We fell in.”
Enchanted
Masterfully crafted. Un-roastable.
An absolute cinematic disaster.
The beautiful princess Giselle is banished by an evil queen from her magical, musical animated land and finds herself in the gritty reality of the streets of modern-day Manhattan. Shocked by this strange new environment that doesn't operate on a "happily ever after" basis, Giselle is now adrift in a chaotic world badly in need of enchantment. But when Giselle begins to fall in love with a charmingly flawed divorce lawyer who has come to her aid - even though she is already promised to a perfect fairy tale prince back home - she has to wonder: Can a storybook view of romance survive in the real world?

Why does no one talk about how mid the writing in Enchanted actually is?
Just got out of Enchanted and I'm convinced critics are being paid in residuals. Two genuinely good scenes do not make a film. Convince me otherwise.
[Spoilers] Can we discuss that absolutely baffling ending in Enchanted?
Director clearly thought Enchanted was deeper than it is. There's a difference between ambiguous and unfinished, and this leans hard into the second.
Unpopular opinion: Enchanted is the most overrated film of the decade
Rewatched Enchanted last night and noticed even more plot holes than the first time. The motivations don't track at all once you stop and think about act two.
