Creed II is the cinematic equivalent of finding your old toys and trying to charge admission.

Creed II confuses "subtle" with "the cast forgot to act".

@REEL_DEAL2025-12-18 05:00 UTC

Creed II should come with a complimentary pillow for when the third-act CGI soup inevitably kicks in.

The cinematography in Creed II is doing all the heavy lifting and it shows

Honestly, Creed II would be a tight 95-minute movie. Instead we got a bloated runtime padded with B-roll and lingering shots that add nothing.

Why does no one talk about how mid the writing in Creed II actually is?

Director clearly thought Creed II was deeper than it is. There's a difference between ambiguous and unfinished, and this leans hard into the second.

[Serious Discussion] Is anyone else completely checked out by the pacing in Creed II?

Just got out of Creed II and I'm convinced critics are being paid in residuals. Two genuinely good scenes do not make a film. Convince me otherwise.
