Rizzoli & Isles
Masterfully crafted. Un-roastable.
An absolute cinematic disaster.
Perhaps their strikingly different personalities make the relationship between detective Jane Rizzoli and medical examiner Maura Isles so effective. Jane, the only female cop in Boston's homicide division, is tough, relentless and rarely lets her guard down, while the impeccably dressed Maura displays a sometimes icy temperament — she is, after all, more comfortable among the dead than the living. Together, the best friends have forged a quirky and supportive relationship; they drop the protective shield in each other's company, and combine their expertise to solve Boston's most complex cases.

[Spoilers] Can we discuss that absolutely baffling ending in Rizzoli & Isles?
Look, I wanted to love Rizzoli & Isles. The trailer had me hyped. But sitting through the second hour felt like a homework assignment. The dialogue is exposition stacked on exposition and the score keeps telling me how to feel.
The cinematography in Rizzoli & Isles is doing all the heavy lifting and it shows
Honestly, Rizzoli & Isles would be a tight 95-minute movie. Instead we got a bloated runtime padded with B-roll and lingering shots that add nothing.
[Serious Discussion] Is anyone else completely checked out by the pacing in Rizzoli & Isles?
Just got out of Rizzoli & Isles and I'm convinced critics are being paid in residuals. Two genuinely good scenes do not make a film. Convince me otherwise.
Unpopular opinion: Rizzoli & Isles is the most overrated film of the decade
Rewatched Rizzoli & Isles last night and noticed even more plot holes than the first time. The motivations don't track at all once you stop and think about act two.
