One Piece put every joke in the trailer and then dared us to sit through the rest.

“The devil tomato approves... reluctantly.”
One Piece
Masterfully crafted. Un-roastable.
An absolute cinematic disaster.
Years ago, the fearsome Pirate King, Gol D. Roger was executed leaving a huge pile of treasure and the famous "One Piece" behind. Whoever claims the "One Piece" will be named the new King of the Pirates. Monkey D. Luffy, a boy who consumed a "Devil Fruit," decides to follow in the footsteps of his idol, the pirate Shanks, and find the One Piece. It helps, of course, that his body has the properties of rubber and that he's surrounded by a bevy of skilled fighters and thieves to help him along the way. Luffy will do anything to get the One Piece and become King of the Pirates!

[Spoilers] Can we discuss that absolutely baffling ending in One Piece?
Everyone praising the One Piece performances must have watched a different cut. The lead is sleepwalking through this and the supporting cast can't save it.
Unpopular opinion: One Piece is the most overrated film of the decade
Director clearly thought One Piece was deeper than it is. There's a difference between ambiguous and unfinished, and this leans hard into the second.
[Serious Discussion] Is anyone else completely checked out by the pacing in One Piece?
Look, I wanted to love One Piece. The trailer had me hyped. But sitting through the second hour felt like a homework assignment. The dialogue is exposition stacked on exposition and the score keeps telling me how to feel.
