If exposition were a contact sport, Up would be banned for life.

If Up was a meal, it'd be unsalted rice with extra ego.

Up confuses "subtle" with "the cast forgot to act".

Up put every joke in the trailer and then dared us to sit through the rest.

[Serious Discussion] Is anyone else completely checked out by the pacing in Up?

Honestly, Up would be a tight 95-minute movie. Instead we got a bloated runtime padded with B-roll and lingering shots that add nothing.

The cinematography in Up is doing all the heavy lifting and it shows

Director clearly thought Up was deeper than it is. There's a difference between ambiguous and unfinished, and this leans hard into the second.

Unpopular opinion: Up is the most overrated film of the decade

Just got out of Up and I'm convinced critics are being paid in residuals. Two genuinely good scenes do not make a film. Convince me otherwise.
