The Bear: proof the studio reads its own marketing too literally.

@LATE_SHOW_LURKER2025-12-16 08:00 UTC

The Bear put every joke in the trailer and then dared us to sit through the rest.

@TRAILER_TROLL2025-12-08 12:00 UTC

Laughed twice during The Bear. Once was a sneeze.

Hot Take: The Bear's third act ruined what could have been a masterpiece

Honestly, The Bear would be a tight 95-minute movie. Instead we got a bloated runtime padded with B-roll and lingering shots that add nothing.

[Serious Discussion] Is anyone else completely checked out by the pacing in The Bear?

Director clearly thought The Bear was deeper than it is. There's a difference between ambiguous and unfinished, and this leans hard into the second.

Why does no one talk about how mid the writing in The Bear actually is?

Just got out of The Bear and I'm convinced critics are being paid in residuals. Two genuinely good scenes do not make a film. Convince me otherwise.
